Presented by Apollo Jets at Mastro’s Steakhouse, Chris Paul Family Foundation’s “Celebrity Server” drew sports and entertainment influencers and philanthropy leaders for a four-course meal, live auction, and musical performance by critically-acclaimed violinist Lee England, Jr. Celebrity servers included Chris Paul, James Harden, Carmelo Anthony, Eric Gordon, Clint Capella, and Dallas Keuchel.

The Chris Paul Family Foundation gala resulted a $25,000 gift for the Coalition’s Welcome Home Fund. On behalf of The Way Home, the Coalition for the Homeless’ Welcome Home Fund provides furniture, Welcome Baskets and financial assistance to multiple partner agencies, so their clients can exit homelessness and move into their new home.

During the event, the Coalition presented a video that highlights the system-wide benefit of the Welcome Home Fund, featuring interviews with Nathaniel, a formerly homeless individual, and Yvonne, a case manager with The Way Home partner agency, Avenue 360 Health and Wellness. The video was one of the highlights of the event!

Thanks to the generosity of community members and foundations, the Welcome Home Fund provides approximately 1,000 Welcome Baskets to partner agencies and their clients each year.
