We need your creativity for our first annual t-shirt design contest!

The Coalition for the Homeless is excited to announce its first ever t-shirt design contest as part of its annual World Homeless Day event!

Click here to make your submission by Sunday, August 30!

We are inviting eligible community members to create one-of-a-kind designs around the theme "What Home Means to Me." Three prizes will be awarded and the winners will be announced during our "Pancakes and Solutions" virtual brunch fundraiser on World Homeless Day (October 10).

The grand prize winner will have their artwork featured on t-shirts that will be sold online throughout the year.

All of the revenue generated from shirt sales will benefit the Coalition for the Homeless and our mission to lead in the development, advocacy, and coordination of community strategies to prevent and end homelessness.

"We know that home means different things to different people," said Mike Nichols, President/CEO at the Coalition. "We are excited to be able to engage the public in creative commentary on the issue of homelessness in our community and raise awareness about the Coalition's unique role in implementing homelessness solutions."

The Coalition recognizes that it can be challenging for parents and guardians to talk to children about issues like homelessness and poverty. For those looking for advice and guidance on how to have these discussions, we recommend these resources:

Voting committees comprised of Coalition staff and Board Members and community partners will select three winning designs from all eligible submissions. To view the full contest rules, terms, and conditions, click here

Our hope is that this contest inspires connection and involvement throughout our community!
