The Coalition accepts general volunteers for projects and community volunteers for major events such as the Houston Homeless Point In Time Enumeration and Street Count conducted in January each year and the Homeless In Memoriam on December 21st of each year.

SUPPORT 100,000 HOMES CAMPAIGN
100,000 Homes Campaign is a grassroots effort to find and place the most vulnerable, long-term homeless individuals into 100,000 households across the country by July 2014. Under the leadership of Mayor Annise Parker, the City of Houston in partnership with the Houston Housing Authority, SEARCH Homeless Services, Corporation for Supportive Housing, Coalition for the Homeless and other integral community partners are planning a week long effort to identify and help persons who are homeless obtain and sustain permanent housing.
