Hurricane Harvey: Thank You to Our Donors

Communications Admin • Sep 18, 2017
To our donors around the world – how can we ever say “thank you” enough?

The Coalition was picked up by several national media outlets as a reputable, local organization where people from around the country, and it turns out, from around the world, could make donations, and the outpouring of support was monumental and incredibly heartwarming. Thousands of individuals, foundations, and companies donated more than $1.2 million to the Coalition. While we wish we had the time and room on our site to list each and every donor, you can view a list of donors below who gave $1,000 or more to support our work after Hurricane Harvey.

Your donations have allowed us to provide furniture, home goods, and rental assistance to those placed in apartments through the Housing For Harvey program. Also, the landscape in Houston continues to change – we expect that this will be the case for months, if not years. The Coalition promises to continue to work with local partners to identify gaps in services and the needs of homeless individuals in our community, and to provide whatever support they need.
