Surveys

An Emergency Shelter Census Survey is conducted annually on the fourth Thursday of January. This survey continues the tradition of taking a snapshot picture of the homeless population in the communities of Houston and Harris County. It is the Coalition's goal to present a more complete picture of homeless trends and demographics within our immediate community as well as the portion of the population moving through the Continuum of Care system in Houston and Harris County.
