A successful Continuum of Care (CoC) should have a year-round planning process that is coordinated, inclusive and outcome-oriented. The Houston CoC has a governing body and a number of sub-committees or working groups. The membership of the governing body is decided through an open and democratic process and is representative of private, nonprofit and public sectors. The Houston-area Continuum of Care is governed by a Steering Committee composed of representatives from across the community.

All regularly scheduled meetings will be on 2nd Thursday of each month, from 3:30 – 5:00 pm at the Coalition for the Homeless’ office. The address is: 2000 Crawford Street, Suite 700, Houston, TX 77002. Paid and free parking is available on the streets and surface lots surrounding the building.
