Fiscal Year (FY) 2019 NOFA

As the Lead Agency to The Way Home Continuum of Care (CoC) (TX-700, Cities of Houston/Pasadena & Harris/Fort Bend/Montgomery Counties), the Coalition for the Homeless will run a local competition based on the FY 2019 Continuum of Care Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA) released by the US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), to ensure that we submit a funding recommendation for Funding Opportunity FR-6200-N-25.

This competition is open to any agencies within the aforementioned territory, regardless of whether or not agencies have received CoC Program Funding in previous years, whose project answers the FY 2019 CoC Program goals of ending homelessness by quickly rehousing individuals and families experiencing homelessness; persons fleeing domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, and stalking; and youth while minimizing the trauma and dislocation caused by homelessness; to promote access to and effective utilization of mainstream programs by individuals and families experiencing homelessness; and to optimize self-sufficiency among those experiencing homelessness.

There will be a Mandatory CoC Conference on Friday, July 19th from 9:00 – 11:00 am at The United Way of Greater Houston: 50 Waugh Drive, Houston, TX 77007 in Auditorium IJK.
If you plan on submitting any application (new or renewal) in the FY19 CoC NOFA Process, it’s mandatory someone from your agency attend this conference.
